Om Namo Bhagavate

Beyond the highest heaven shore,

The Buddha of unending life

Pours out a light forever more

And bears the world beyond its strife.

This world is dew before the dawn,

A fragile dream that will not stay.

We hear your name, the dark is gone,

And death untimely turns away.

Long may our holiness abide And stay 

Unshaken as Mount Meru in the sea.

May Dharma's lamp not dim by night or day,

That all may rest beneath your canopy.

Om Namo Bhagavate, Apamirita Ayur

A thousand hearts are lifted in one plea:

Oh, live a long stay. Long life, long life to thee.

Nice hundred million Buddhas rise,

With one great voice they all proclaim:

Who writes or keeps or hears this word

Shall never fall to grief or shame.

The mountains of our karma fall 

Like dust they scatter in the air.

The four great kings attend us all

To lead us to the lotus fair.

Long may our holiness abide and stay 

Unshaken as Mount Meru in the sea.

May dharma as lamp not dim by night or day,

That all may rest beneath your canopy.

A thousand hearts are lifted in one plea:

Oh, live a long stay. Long life, long life to thee.

Oh sacred dragon, Drukpa king, whose lion roar is Dharma's sound,

Born of the ancient thunderline, you rise like moonlight, still and round.

The six perfections crowned in you, compassion is your citadel.

The three great realms resound and ring with Dharma's everlasting bell.

Do not depart, beloved one.

Our eyes are dim, our minds are night.

We are but fledglings in the storm.

Oh, shelter us beneath your light.

Each word I wind into a flower,

Each beat of heart is silken thread.

Though I should offer all three realms,

They'd never match the words I've said.

Oh live long, live long, live long!

May beings walk the waking path in Amitayus' endless rays.
